The release includes the following enhancements:

Overbooking & Booking with Rules in Effect

ATTENTION ADMINS - All user roles display a new line item that allowing or disallowing overbooking and booking when rules are in effect. This option is NOT checked by default. To allow users to overbook or book through rules, Admins should grant the clearance by checking the Overbooking & Booking with Rules in Effect box in Role Details (Admin / Roles / [Role Name]). Users without a check in Overbooking & Booking with Rules in Effect will not be able to make a booking that breaks rules.

'Enforce Rules Check Box' Removed

On the New Quote screen (Reservations / Reservations / New Quote), the Room Assignment screen (Reservation Detail / […]), and the Tape Chart (Reservations / Tape chart) the ‘Enforce Rules,’ Checkbox has been eliminated, as the clearances are now tied to the Overbooking & Booking with Rules in Effect checkbox in Role Details.

New Quote & Room Assignment

In place of the ‘Enforce Rules,’ Checkbox, we’ve added visual indications for the type of rules for a particular date range. Icons will display blue if the search meets the rule criteria. If the search breaks the rules the icons will display in red.

Nights Minimum Stay - When a minimum stay range exists for the search, an icon will display the number of nights restricted, 2N or 3N for 2 and three night minimums.

No Check in – When a no check out rule exists for the search, user will see an arrow pointing to four o’clock to indicate its presence.

No Check out - When a no check in rule exists for the search, user will see an arrow pointing to two o’clock to indicate its presence.
Clicking the Rule indicator will pop up the Rule Details screen pertinent to the rule indicated.
